When you live thousands of kilometres away, finding an architect, engineer, builder, interior designer, fit-out specialist, furnishing company, or realtor can become a frustrating process. People turn to family and friends, WhatsApp groups, social media, Jiji and other disconnected platforms, often relying on referrals simply because there are few better ways to search. But a referral does not always mean you have found the best professional for your project. You still need to know their experience, previous work, specialization, workmanship, credibility, and cost.

The same challenge exists for people living in Kenya. Finding the right person for a specific project can depend heavily on who you know rather than who is actually best suited for the job. We believed there had to be a better way.

MZURI was born from that realization. A group of home developers and highly qualified engineers in Canada and the United States came together with experienced professionals in Kenya and abroad across build & remodel, interior design, fit-out, furnishing, engineering, property development, and real estate. Together, we spent more than a year studying the property development journey, speaking with professionals, listening to clients, and understanding where the gaps existed.

We built MZURI with a simple purpose: to make it easier to find the right professionals and make better property decisions. The platform gives service providers a place to showcase their expertise, experience, projects, and capabilities, while giving clients a better way to discover, compare, and connect based on what truly matters.
